I'm Currently using this app called Variant Options Swatch King where it Uses the Product Image that is connected to the color Variant. Which Honestly works great but it sometimes slows the webpage down. I think it would be a great option/feature to add to the theme.

you can do that already with the color swatch add on. I used photos of the product for the colors just like your examples.
