Mobile navigation links with submenue has no links

hey, hope you can help me :)
on mobile device, items of my menu that have subitems have no links and are not clickable, to show the collection. i like that visitors can click on eg shirts and get linked to the collection of shirts, and if they like to view the subitems that they can click on the +. is there a way to do that in the css files? thanks in advance for your feedback :)

I think this is not an issue, you can add/assign the navigation links > menu & submenu from Shopify admin. Please see the attached snapshot.
