Custom codes not carried over when update from ver 4.7 to 4.8

Hi Marco, if you have too many custom codes that are integrated into your theme, these might cause conflict within the theme codings and it causes to not show these customizations on the theme.

i wouldnt say i have too many custom codes, maybe 5-8 lines ? (they are google and interest tags). previously they were carried over with no issue in previous updates, so it has to be something wrong from 4.7 to 4.8.
Not selecting the copy custom code for an update is not an option since we dont keep track of all custom codes, not sure what the impact would be, and this would require us to manually copy custom code every time you release an update.
I was merely hoping tech team can have a look of the updater instead

Hi Marco, thank you for giving us notice of this concern. There might be some changes from the 4.7 version to 4.8 that was conflicting with your custom codes. Try contacting our support and our team may look into your concern.
