Can't upload videos to assets

I want to add a slideshow video to my homepage, but when I try to add my .mp4 video to the assets it says it only accepts CSS, IMG, JS, JSON and Liquid. This is strange because I had already added a video previously and I just wanted to change it.
I already contacted Shopify and asked for help and they say that I need to talk with a theme developer because it is supposed to work since I already made this one time.
