The theme is great all around but it would be very nice if there was an option to display each color variant for a single product as separate products on the product page. It also seemed that other apps that help to enable this feature were not compatible with the debutify theme...

We have a feature available as an add-on called Product Swatches!
It may not be 100% what you are looking for, but you can indeed achieve similar results with this add-on.
The Product Swatches add-on lets you display unique products as variants and group them together as a variant selector for the specified product pages.
